Emirates Private School-Fujairah is one of the most prestigious schools in the United Arab Emirates; in fact, it is the first private school in the country. It was established in 1982 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah. The school follows the ministerial curriculum and belongs to the Fujairah Educational Zone. The school's name reflects pride in and appreciation for the United Arab Emirates. The first batch of general secondary students graduated from the school in 2000. The school strives to raise a conscious and aware generation capable of meeting the requirements of the twenty-first century under conscious management and advanced care.
