Al Moktashef students have secured first place in the Ward Mena competition for 2017-2018 and 2018-2019. The school's junior girls' team won first place in the English Language Olympiad in Jeddah. One of the five teams from the Kingdom qualified to participate in Jordan, and the junior boys' team from Al Moktashef won first place. The school also received the Best Project Team Award among 150 teams from 18 countries worldwide.
