Helsinki International Schools - Al Malqa (HEI Schools) is one of the leading international educational institutions that brings the distinguished Finnish education experience to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, based on one of the most successful education systems globally. The HEI Schools network was launched globally in 2019 with support from the University of Helsinki in Finland, and its first branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was opened in 2020, as part of developing education and adopting innovative educational models that align with Saudi Vision 2030. The school adopts the International Finnish Curriculum that focuses on the child as the center of the educational process, and aims to develop their integrated personality from academic, social, and emotional aspects, through modern teaching methods based on exploration, interaction, and learning through purposeful play, away from rote learning and traditional tests.
