One World International School

When my kid was in KG3, I enrolled him to one of the so-called international schools in Riyadh, he spent almost a year in in-person education, but he was not academically advancing. The challenge I faced was to find him a good school amongst the too many available in Riyadh. I finally picked up One World International School (OWIS) after long days of searching and after meeting with the principle and the teachers. My child LOVES this school – from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons. OWIS allows for a lower student to teacher ratio, giving children more confidence when asking questions, engage in group activities, and opportunities for one-on-one time with the teachers. In a month, my son started to pick up what he could not pick in a year time in the other school; especial thanks to Ms. Innes for her patience and keenness to bring my son’s level to that of his peers. Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child – their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. In summary, I recommend OWIS for one simple reason; you get what you pay for. Especial thanks to Ms. Pipes, the Principal and. I also can’t thank Ms. Rahaf enough for her care and professionalism. Admission team was also great. I should not forget Mr. Ahmed the Islamics teacher extending my special thanks to him for the fatherly treatment he provides to my son and of course his professionalism in explaining the subject materials.
